The Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH) basketball knocked off the host Bishop Brady Giants (Concord, NH), 52-32 in Tuesday's league test.
The The Pride (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Derryfield (Manchester, NH). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Derryfield was beaten by Milford (Milford, NH), 57-33, in a non-league outing.
The Giants now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oyster River for a Division II outing on Friday, January 6. Bishop Brady will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 60-27 league win over Manchester West (Manchester, NH). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-1.
