Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA), 55-48 in a league bout.
With the win, Bondurant-Farrar upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Bluejays travel to North Polk (Alleman, IA) to clash with the Comets in a Raccoon River bout on Friday, January 6. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 7-1. North Polk won 53-46 in their recent league bout against Ballard (Huxley, IA)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, January 6. Gilbert will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Toreadors go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 57-25 league loss to Carroll (Carroll, IA).
