The Cougars now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Bernard for a 3A Region III District 24 battle on Friday, January 6. Brazos will battle a Brahmas team coming off a 35-24 league loss to Boling (Boling, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 12-11.
The Panthers (3-16) will now prepare for their battle against Hempstead (Hempstead, TX). The Bobcats come into the 3A Region III District 24 battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Hempstead dropped by Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX), 67-10, in a league battle.
