The Burgettstown Blue Devils routed the host Northgate Flames basketball team by a final score of 70-4 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Sto-Rox Vikings (McKees Rocks, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 2 game, on Thursday, January 5. Burgettstown will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 61-17 non-league win over Propel Braddock Hills (Pittsburgh, PA).
