The Hillsboro Spartans basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Canby Cougars to 34 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Putnam for a 5A Northwest Oregon contest on Friday, January 6. Hillsboro will battle a Kingsmen team coming off a 72-55 league loss to Wilsonville (Wilsonville, OR). The Kingsmen record now stands at 7-3.
The Cougars (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Parkrose (Portland, OR). The Broncos come into the 5A Northwest Oregon contest with a 0-8 record.
