Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Tatnall Hornets (Wilmington, DE) and the visiting Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE), saw Tatnall's basketball squad hold off Caravel by a count of 37-36.

With the victory, Tatnall upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Hornets host Wilmington Friends (Wilmington, DE) to play the Quakers in a Independent Schools challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Quakers come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Dover Senators (Dover, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Caravel will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
