Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) and the visiting Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), saw Carroll County's basketball squad wallop Glenvar by a tally of 91-33.

With the victory, Carroll County improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Radford (Radford, VA) to play the Bobcats in a Three Rivers challenge on Friday, January 6. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Radford lost 52-28 in their recent league challenge against Alleghany (Covington, VA)

Next up, the Highlanders play the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Friday, January 6. Glenvar will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 64-43 league loss to Floyd County (Floyd, VA).
