The Twentynine Palms Wildcats basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Cathedral City Lions to 10 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Desert Mirage for a Desert Valley contest on Thursday, January 5. Twentynine Palms will battle a RAMS team coming off a 65-19 league loss to Yucca Valley (Yucca Valley, CA). The RAMS record now stands at 5-8.

The Lions (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Yucca Valley (Yucca Valley, CA). The Trojans enter the Desert Valley contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Yucca Valley triumphed over Desert Mirage (Thermal, CA), 65-19, in a league contest.
