The Central Wise Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Gate City Blue Devils to 44 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Abingdon for a Mountain contest on Friday, January 6. Central Wise will battle a Falcons team coming off a 47-37 league win over Lee (Jonesville, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-6.

The Blue Devils (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Daniel Boone (Gray, TN). The Trailblazers enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Daniel Boone ran past South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN), 55-30, in a non-league contest.
