The Cooper Bulldogs (Cooper, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX), 51-27 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bulldogs (17-10) will now prepare for their test against Cumby (Cumby, TX). The Trojans go into the 2A Region II District 15 test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Cumby was trounced by Alba-Golden (Alba, TX), 59-33, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Boles for a 2A Region II District 15 test on Friday, January 6. Como-Pickton will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 49-20 league win over North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 15-10.
