University Red Devils (San Francisco, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Convent of the Sacred Heart Cubs (San Francisco, CA), 71-13 in a league bout.

With the win, University upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Red Devils host Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA) to play the Wildcats in a Bay Counties - West bout on Friday, January 6. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Marin Academy lost 36-28 in their recent non-league bout against Antioch (Antioch, CA)

Next up, the Cubs play the Urban Blues (San Francisco, CA) in a Bay Counties - West bout, on Thursday, January 5. Convent of the Sacred Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Blues go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 62-33 non-league win over Balboa (San Francisco, CA).
