Texas High School Basketball - Early overwhelmed by Peaster

The Peaster Greyhounds basketball team scored 94 points and restricted the host Early Longhorns to 22 in the Greyhounds league victory on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brock for a 3A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, January 6. Peaster will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-39 league win over Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 21-4.
The Longhorns (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Millsap (Millsap, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region I District 8 contest with a 11-11 record. In their last contest, Millsap triumphed over Dublin (Dublin, TX), 57-44, in a league contest.
