Kentucky High School Basketball - West Carter can't hold off East Carter

The East Carter Raiders basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting West Carter Comets to 48 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Raiders now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Menifee County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. East Carter will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 48-44 non-league loss to Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-3.
The Comets (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Morgan County (West Liberty, KY). The Cougars enter the District 62 contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Morgan County nudged Lee County (Beattyville, KY), 71-47, in a non-league contest.
