The Episcopal Academy Churchmen basketball team (Newtown Square, PA), was overwhelmed 63-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA)

The Quakers now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Academy-Notre Dame De Namur for a Inter-Academic battle on Friday, January 6. William Penn Charter will battle a team coming off a 50-22 league win over Agnes Irwin (Rosemont, PA). The record now stands at 6-6.

The Churchmen (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA). The Patriots come into the Inter-Academic battle with a 7-8 record.
