The Glendale Nitros (Glendale, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA), 39-32 in Tuesday's league test.
The Nitros (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Pilibos (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Pilibos got by California (Whittier, CA), 45-34, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Hoover for a Pacific test on Thursday, January 5. Muir will encounter a Tornados squad coming off a 70-7 league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, CA). The Tornados record now stands at 0-10.
