The Saint Jo Panthers basketball squad scored 62 points and limited the host Gold-Burg Bears to 30 in the Panthers league win on Tuesday.

With the win, Saint Jo upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Panthers host Gainesville (Gainesville, TX) to play the Leopards in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 1-17. Gainesville lost 76-19 in their recent non-league bout against Nocona (Nocona, TX)

Next up, the Bears play the Forestburg Longhorns (Forestburg, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 bout, on Friday, January 6. Gold-Burg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 65-30 league loss to Midway (Henrietta, TX).
