With the win, Gompers Prep Academy upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Eagles host Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Foothills Christian lost 27-21 in their recent non-league bout against Horizon Prep (Rancho Santa Fe, CA)

Next up, the Surgeons clash with the Mountain Empire Redhawks (Pine Valley, CA) in a Pioneer bout, on Thursday, January 5. Health Sciences will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Redhawks go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 33-22 league loss to Gompers Prep Academy (San Diego, CA).
