Gospel Light Christian (Walkertown, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Tabernacle Christian Conquerors (Hickory, NC), 50-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Gospel Light Christian upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The host Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Eagles in a NCCSA AA West District 2 bout on Friday, January 6. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Woodland Baptist Christian won 56-34 in their recent league bout against Vandalia Christian (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Conquerors play the Triad Baptist Christian Academy Titans (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Tabernacle Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 52-22 non-league win over Tabernacle Christian (Monroe, NC).
