Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME), 54-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Hampden upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Broncos host Edward Little (Auburn, ME) to play the Red Eddies in a AA North bout on Thursday, January 5. The Red Eddies go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Edward Little won 36-33 in their recent league bout against Deering (Portland, ME)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) in a AA North bout, on Thursday, January 5. Lewiston will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 63-24 league win over Portland (Portland, ME).
