Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Unaka Rangers (Elizabethton, TN) and the visiting Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN), saw Unaka's basketball squad knock off Happy Valley by a count of 35-26.

With the victory, Unaka upgrades its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Rangers host University (Johnson City, TN) to play the Buccaneers in a 1A District 1 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. University lost 90-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Johnson County (Mountain City, TN)

Next up, the Warriors play the Hampton Bulldogs (Hampton, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Happy Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-0 record after their 55-53 non-league win over South Greene (Greeneville, TN).
