Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hickman County Bulldogs (Centerville, TN) and the visiting Lewis County Panthers (Hohenwald, TN), saw Hickman County's basketball squad hold off Lewis County by a tally of 1-0.

With the victory, Hickman County improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Stewart County (Dover, TN) to play the Rebels in a 2A District 11 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Panthers play the Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TN) in a 2A District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Lewis County will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record.
