The High Tech Mesa Thunder (San Diego, CA) basketball nipped the host King-Chavez Community Lions (San Diego, CA), 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Thunder (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Steele Canyon got by Madison (San Diego, CA), 64-20, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chula Vista Learning Community Charter for a Pioneer test on Thursday, January 5.
