Illinois High School Basketball - Jefferson ripped by Hononegah

The Hononegah Indians basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Jefferson J-Hawks to 22 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockford Auburn for a Northern Illinois 10 contest on Friday, January 6. Hononegah will battle a Knights team coming off a 58-21 league loss to Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Knights record now stands at 9-8.
The J-Hawks (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies enter the Northern Illinois 10 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Harlem triumphed over Moline (Moline, IL), 56-54, in a non-league contest.
