Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hughesville trounces Warrior Run

The Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA) basketball crushed the host Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA), 47-26 in Tuesday's league test.
The Spartans (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA). The Tigers go into the Heartland II test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Southern Columbia Area was trounced by Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA), 41-40, in a league test.
The Defenders now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Loyalsock Township for a Heartland II test on Friday, January 6. Warrior Run will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 43-31 league loss to Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-2.
