Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA), 62-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Johnston upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Indianola (Indianola, IA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Rams play the Urbandale J-Hawks (Urbandale, IA) in a Central Iowa Metro - Central bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Southeast Polk will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record.
