Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Natalia Mustangs (Natalia, TX), 62-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jourdanton upgrades its record to 21-3 on the campaign. The Indians/Squaws host Poteet (Poteet, TX) to play the Aggies in a 3A Region IV District 27 bout on Friday, January 6. The Aggies come into the bout with a record of 7-14. Poteet lost 36-26 in their recent non-league bout against Pettus (Pettus, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Lytle Pirates (Lytle, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 bout, on Friday, January 6. Natalia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 14-10 record after their 54-41 non-league loss to San Marcos (San Marcos, TX).
