Stockton Tigers (Stockton, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lamar Tigers (Lamar, MO), 44-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stockton upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Marionville (Marionville, MO) to clash with the Comets in a Southwest bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Marionville won 73-29 in their recent non-league bout against Exeter (Exeter, MO)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Cassville Wildcats (Cassville, MO) in a Big 8 bout, on Thursday, January 12. Lamar will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 44-42 non-league win over Miami (Miami, OK).
