Texas High School Basketball - Life Waxahachie crushes Venus

Life Waxahachie Mustangs (Waxahachie, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Venus Bulldogs (Venus, TX), 60-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Life Waxahachie upgrades its record to 8-18 on the season. The Mustangs host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, January 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-7. Hillsboro lost 67-64 in their recent league bout against Alvarado (Alvarado, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) in a 4A Region II District 10 bout, on Friday, January 6. Venus will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 50-41 non-league loss to Palmer (Palmer, TX).
