Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX), 47-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Lone Star upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Rangers travel to Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX) to clash with the Trojans in a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Friday, January 6. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Newman Smith lost 54-39 in their recent league bout against The Colony (The Colony, TX)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 bout, on Friday, January 6. Reedy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-17 record after their 53-11 league loss to Wakeland (Frisco, TX).
