The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Verona lost 75-74 in their recent non-league bout against Germantown (Germantown, WI)

Next up, the Purgolders clash with the Janesville Craig Cougars (Janesville, WI) in a Big Eight bout, on Friday, January 6. Madison East will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 66-50 non-league win over Lakeside Lutheran (Lake Mills, WI).
