Georgia High School Basketball - Taylor County nips Manchester

January 3, 2023: Butler, GA 31006

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) and the visiting Manchester Blue Devils (Manchester, GA), saw Taylor County's basketball squad hold off Manchester by a tally of 57-50.

With the victory, Taylor County improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Schley County (Ellaville, GA) to play the Wildcats in a A D2 Region 6A challenge on Friday, January 6. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Schley County lost 51-48 in their recent league challenge against Macon County (Montezuma, GA)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Greenville Patriots (Greenville, GA) in a A D2 Region 6B challenge, on Friday, January 6. Manchester will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record.
