The Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) basketball crushed the host Mapleton/Siuslaw Sailors (Mapleton, OR), 49-7 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Yoncalla (Yoncalla, OR). The Eagles go into the 1A Skyline test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Yoncalla walloped New Hope Christian (Grants Pass, OR), 40-34, in a league test.
The Sailors now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sisters for a 3A Mountain Valley test on Friday, January 6. Mapleton/Siuslaw will encounter a Outlaws squad coming off a 37-29 league loss to Elmira (Elmira, OR). The Outlaws record now stands at 2-10.
