Texas High School Basketball - McNeil overwhelmed by Vista Ridge

The Vista Ridge Rangers basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host McNeil Mavericks to 20 in the Rangers league victory on Tuesday.
The Rangers now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Round Rock Westwood for a 6A Region IV District 25 contest on Friday, January 6. Vista Ridge will battle a Warriors team coming off a 48-38 league loss to Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 8-13.
The Mavericks (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Vandegrift (Austin, TX). The Vipers come into the 6A Region IV District 25 contest with a 6-16 record. In their last contest, Vandegrift was routed by Manor (Manor, TX), 55-48, in a league contest.
