The Midd-West Mustangs basketball team (Middleburg, PA), was overwhelmed 70-20 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA)
The Indians now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mifflinburg for a Heartland III battle on Friday, January 6.
The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Montoursville (Montoursville, PA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Montoursville trounced Milton (Milton, PA), 54-22, in a league battle.
