The Midway Green Wave (Kingston, TN) basketball crushed the host Oliver Springs Bobcats (Oliver Springs, TN), 49-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Green Wave (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Greenback (Greenback, TN). The Cherokees go into the 1A District 4 test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Greenback walloped Maryville Christian (Maryville, TN), 49-37, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Anderson County for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5. Oliver Springs will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 44-43 non-league loss to Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-8.
