The Miller County Pirates basketball team (Colquitt, GA), was routed 72-23 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Pelham Hornets (Pelham, GA)
The Hornets now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mitchell County for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Pelham will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-28 non-league loss to Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
The Pirates (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Abbeville Christian Academy (Abbeville, AL). The Generals come into the non-league battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Abbeville Christian Academy was routed by Wiregrass (Dothan, AL), 44-42, in a non-league battle.
