In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Moline Maroons (Moline, IL), by a count of 60-34.
The Ironmen (17-0) will now prepare for their outing against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Purple Raiders go into the Big Twelve outing with a 2-14 record. In their last outing, Bloomington was crushed by Rock Island (Rock Island, IL), 41-40, in a non-league outing.
The Maroons now hold a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Geneseo for a Western Big 6 outing on Thursday, January 5. Moline will clash with a Maple Leafs squad coming off a 44-34 non-league win over Morton (Morton, IL). The Maple Leafs record now stands at 13-3.
