Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS) and the visiting Moss Point Tigers (Moss Point, MS), saw Stone's basketball squad hold off Moss Point by a tally of 19-17.
With the victory, Stone improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to Greene County (Leakesville, MS) to play the Wildcats in a 4A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 15-6.
Next up, the Tigers play the Pass Christian Pirates (Pass Christian, MS) in a 4A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Moss Point will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record.
