Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) and the visiting Narraguagus Knights (Harrington, ME), saw Washington Academy's basketball squad overcome Narraguagus by a tally of 53-39.

With the victory, Washington Academy improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME) to confront the Wildcats in a B North challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Presque Isle won 47-45 in their recent league challenge against Caribou (Caribou, ME)

Next up, the Knights confront the Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) in a C North challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Narraguagus will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 37-19 non-league win over Shead (Eastport, ME).
