With the win, Negreet upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Indians host Converse (Converse, LA) to play the Wildcats in a B District 3 bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-12.

Next up, the Broncos play the Harrisonburg Bulldogs (Harrisonburg, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Simpson will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 47-35 non-league win over Kilbourne (Kilbourne, LA).
