North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwest Onslow trounces North Lenoir

The Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) basketball crushed the visiting North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC), 72-31 in Tuesday's league test.

The Stallions (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Kinston (Kinston, NC). The Vikings go into the 2A Conference 6 test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Kinston walloped East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 28-25, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Wallace-Rose Hill for a 2A Conference 6 test on Wednesday, January 4. North Lenoir will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 48-17 league loss to South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
