Kansas High School Basketball - Rawlins County edges Northern Valley

The Rawlins County Buffaloes (Atwood, KS) basketball nipped the visiting Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS), 37-32 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Buffaloes (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Wallace County (Sharon Springs, KS). The Wildcats go into the Northwest Kansas test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Wallace County got by Wheatland-Grinnell (Grainfield, KS), 54-33, in a non-league test.

The Huskies now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Greeley County for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Northern Valley will encounter a Jackrabbits squad coming off a 52-25 non-league win over Triplains/Brewster (Brewster, KS). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 2-4.
