The Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL), 48-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Wolves go into the SouthWest Prairie - West test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Oswego East notched a victory over Joliet Central (Joliet, IL), 54-35, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Plainfield Central for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5. Oswego will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 33-27 league loss to Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-10.
