The Southwood Cowboys basketball team (Shreveport, LA), was overwhelmed 59-10 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Parkway Panthers (Bossier City, LA)
The Panthers now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibsland-Coleman for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 4. Parkway will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-43 non-league win over Benton (Benton, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-3.
The Cowboys (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Benton (Benton, LA). The Tigers come into the 5A District 1 battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Benton trounced Byrd (Shreveport, LA), 50-33, in a league battle.
