The Valley City Hi-Liners basketball team (Valley City, ND), was overwhelmed 66-39 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND)
The Roughriders now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moorhead for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 5. Red River will confront a Spuds team coming off a 30-27 league loss to Brainerd (Brainerd, MN). The Spuds record now stands at 2-10.
The Hi-Liners (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lisbon (Lisbon, ND). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Lisbon trounced Richland (Colfax, ND), 43-40, in a league battle.
