Texas High School Basketball - River Road ripped by West Plains

The West Plains Wolves basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting River Road Wildcats to 35 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolves now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hereford for a 4A Region I District 4 contest on Friday, January 6. West Plains will meet a Whitefaces team coming off a 37-20 non-league win over Crane (Crane, TX). The Whitefaces record now stands at 7-6.

The Wildcats (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Canadian (Canadian, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region I District 1 contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Canadian triumphed over Wellington (Wellington, TX), 50-48, in a non-league contest.
