St. Joseph Flyers (Victoria, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host TMI-Episcopal Panthers (San Antonio, TX), 33-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to St. Augustine (Laredo, TX) to play the Knights in a TAPPS 5A District 4 bout on Friday, January 6. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Panthers play the San Antonio Christian Lions (San Antonio, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 4 bout, on Friday, January 6. TMI-Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 40-34 league win over St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX).
