Texas High School Basketball - Timber Creek can't hold off V.R. Eaton

The V.R. Eaton Eagles basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Timber Creek Falcons to 37 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southlake Carroll for a 6A Region I District 4 contest on Friday, January 6. V.R. Eaton will battle a Dragons team coming off a 78-40 league win over Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 18-3.
The Falcons (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Haltom (Haltom City, TX). The Buffalos enter the 6A Region I District 4 contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, Haltom was nudged by Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX), 67-43, in a league contest.
