With the victory, United improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Marion Center (Marion Center, PA) to play the Stingers in a Heritage challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Stingers come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Marion Center won 49-46 in their recent non-league challenge against DuBois (DuBois, PA)

Next up, the Wolves play the Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Thursday, January 5. West Shamokin will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 49-30 league loss to River Valley (Blairsville, PA).
