Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), 66-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Waterville upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Panthers host Hermon (Hermon, ME) to play the Hawks in a B North bout on Saturday, January 7. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Hermon lost 49-47 in their recent league bout against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME)

Next up, the Black Raiders play the Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) in a B North bout, on Thursday, January 5. Winslow will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 59-21 league loss to Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME).
